Subhaashita Sutras - 13

अर्थानामार्जने दुःखमार्जितानां च रक्षणे । नाशे दुःखं व्यये दुःखं धिगर्थं दुःखजीवितम् ।॥

नित्यनीतिः - 31

Earning money is tribulation; protecting it is a problem. If money is lost it causes sorrow. Even to spend it is painful. Down with money, the cause of all!
