अविनीतं स्नेहमात्रेण न मन्‍त्रे कुर्वीत।

Never make a head-strong person your close confidant no matter how dear he / she may be to you

A head-strong person can be provoked to spill out even the closely guarded secrets. Hence however dear he / she be, that person doesn’t deserve to be made a confidant by the king.
